Delivered in partnership with Maximus, the 9.8m x 7.3m artwork is a celebration of Peckham, featuring a selection of portraits of the people of Peckham, taken by Myah at our Circular Square summer event in 2025.
Portraits of Peckham gallery

Circular Square publicly celebrated migration and the voices, stories and histories of Peckham’s migrant communities through creative workshops with local artists, African and Caribbean food, music and a makers’ market featuring small local producers and makers, with a focus on female and global majority-led enterprises working in sustainable ways.
Myah’s “In Living Memory” exhibition wrapped up a two-year project “Memories for the Future”, a community-led programme on the heritage of the people who shaped Peckham’s iconic Rye Lane. “Memories for the Future” was funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, United St Saviours and the London Borough of Southwark’s Culture Together, Neighbourhoods and Cultural Celebrations funds and had generous support from Arts Council England.
